I get a lot of questions about the benefits of eyelash extensions over say something like an eyelash growth serum such as LATISSE®. It seems as though every woman wants longer, thicker, darker more dramatic eyelashes.
S0, why would you choose eyelash extensions over a lash growth serum??? Here’s why:
- Eyelash Extensions are instant. There’s no wait (except for the initial application) to getting long full lashes with eyelash extensions). With a lash growth serum, you must wait at least a couple of weeks to start seeing results of your eyelash growth.
- There is no need for mascara with Eyelash Extensions. Eyelash extensions are black and look like you are wearing mascara at all times. you don’t need to wear mascara unless you wish to put it on your bottom lashes. With lash growth serum, your lashes may grow longer, but you still need to apply mascara to them daily if you want them to stand out.
- You do not need to curl Eyelash Extensions. They come already curled in a variety of curl types that you can choose with your provider. When they are applied they are curled, and black, no need for an eyelash curler. When you use eyelash growth serum, your lashes may grow longer, but they are usually not going to grow curlier unless your natural lash is already very curly.
- You save time getting ready with Eyelash Extensions. Many people love that with eyelash extensions there is hardly the need for any eye make up. Many people don’t wear hardly any at all, they can just “get up and go” so to say. With a lash growth serum, you still need to apply mascara and or curl your lashes if you want dark , stand-out eyelashes.
- Eyelash Extensions are low maitnence day to day. There is no need to do anything to your eyelash extensions. With lash growth serums, you must apply them daily to see any sort of results.
