Several times I have written about the brand Pixi beauty sold in Target stores. Pixi has wonderful quality products, lots of variety, and cute packaging.
Lately, I have been loving their Tinted Brilliance Balms. These are a new product , and they can be compared to Clinique Chubby Sticks, the new Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains , and the Tarte Lipsurgance. All of these products are a balm like lip stain that is in a crayon type form that twists up and down.
Here are the Beneficial ingredients and what they do:
- Jojoba oil is an effective natural moisturizer and environmental barrier for the skin
- Peptides plump fine lines
- Vitamin E nourishes and protects
- Shea butter nourishes the skin
- Vitamin A is a powerful antioxidant
- Rose extract nourishes & repairs
I love the convenient twist up and down packaging, the fact that they leave a stain on your lips even when the gloss has come off, and the color choices they come in.
Here are the two I tried.
Baby Bare which is natural peachy/pink nude color and Rosy Red which is the perfect cherry popsicle red color.
The ONLY downside to these are the price, they are $16 each. However, if you compare them to their competitors, the Revlon sticks are around $8, Clinique is $16 and the Tarte brand is $24. So , they are in the middle price range.
I am very curious to try the new Revlon Balm Stains to see how they compare. If anyone has tried them, I would love your input!
I LOVE THESE, just wish they were a little less expensive. Definitely moisturizing, and the perfect middle ground between a lipstick, tint and gloss.
