Drugstore Concealer: Physicians Formula Concealer Twin
Hey Guys!
It may seem like I’ve been talking a lot about drugstore make up lately, but…it’s true, I have found a lot of great products at the drug store!
I always use concealer. Even if I don’t wear a lot of foundation, a little concealer can go a long way. For the most part, I have always used MAC studio finish or moisture cover concealer. They usually do the trick. I also love Bobbi Brown’s correctors and concealers! But- it’s really nice when you can find something really inexpensive that does the trick.
I recently went to help my mom pick out some new make up. We ended up getting the Physicians Forumula Concealer Twin in Yellow/light. It has two ends which help correct and camouflage different areas.

When we got home , I tried a little on myself and quickly realized I loved the texture, consistancy and coverage of this concealer. It’s more drying than most , but goes on smoothly. It also dries down matte, which I personally like when trying to conceal areas.
I’ve found too many times that concealers for me just glide off my skin, or are too creamy. I would not recommend this for dry, mature skin types. I would recommend it more for those who get oily, or have combination skin. At my local Target this was close to $7.
The pinker side is perfect for concealing small blemishes and to brighten under the eyes. The yellow side I use in very small amounts to conceal any areas that appear a little more pink like around the nose, and cheeks.
I hope this review was helpful!! Have you tried this Physicians Formula Concealer Twin??

Hey Guys,
Make-up and lashes I get, but nail’s have always been difficult for me!!!
Especially finding a good nail polish that really lasts on my nails. I have ranted about having a difficult time finding long wearing nail polish before. It seems as if I’ve tried every nail polish brand out there…drugstore and high end. But, believe it or not I have found one that is super cheap and absolutely does the job for me!
The Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Laquer is amazing nail polish!!! I randomly picked up the wild orchid shade when I saw it and loved the color. I realized it lasted on my nails 4 good days and I definitely could have left it on longer, but when I get one or two chips in it, I always feel the need to remove it all and start again. These retail between $3-5 depending on the store and location

I went out and got 2 other colors just to make sure it was not just a fluke that this nail polish had lasted so long on my nails…(4 days with no chips at all is REALLY amazing for me). I got the French Rose color which is just a french manicure soft pink color and the posh pink. I tried both and they wore exactly the same! These are long wearing, have a super glossy finish and come in a really chic pretty bottle. They’re inexpensive too!!
I can’t say enough good things about this nail polish. It is my new favorite! There are not a ton of colors to choose from , but hopefully they will make more soon.
What do you think of the Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Polish ? Have you tried one yet? For $4 it’s definitely worth at least checking out once if you too are frustrated with your nails!

Eyeshadow Primers/ Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Review
Hey Guys!!
I have a secret to share. This is one of the best eye make-up tips I can give you!!
And, it is…MAC paint pot in Painterly. It is my all time favorite all over eye base before applying eye shadow. I use it almost every day and can’t imagine life without it.

This has been my all time favorite “neutral” eye shadow base/primer of any I’ve tried. But, there is a new drugstore product out there that is really giving the MAC paint pots a run for their money. It is the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eye shadows. I was very hesitant about buying one of these to try but they were getting such great reviews I had to try, and I am NOT disappointed.
They are long wearing, don’t crease, go and smoothly and give really great color payoff. I still love my MAC paint pot in painterly because it’s neutral. But, these are really great for a pop of color, or a base for a colorful eye shadow look. The packaging even looks just like the MAC paint pots.
So my favorite colors? Tough as Taupe which is a neutral matte greyish taupe and Too Cool which is a shimmery white. It gives a beautiful frosted affect.
So tell me…have you tried these yet? If not..what is your favorite eye shadow primer??

The Basics of Eyelash Extensions- Common Questions and Answers
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to answer a few common questions I get about eyelash extensions. If you have additional questions you can e-mail me at Lauren@lovelobeauty.com .
How long to eyelash extensions last?
Lash extensions are semi-permanent and last up to 4-6 weeks. They fall out gradually with the cycle of your eyelash growth. You are continuously growing new lashes as the old ones fall out.
Will eyelash extensions damage my lashes?
They do not damage the eyelash growth because they are not applied to the root of the hair growth. Your lashes will continue to grow. You want to be sure you are going to someone who is very precise with their application, who does one lash on each individual lash, otherwise it can cause lashes to fall out prematurely, but they will grow back. This is why your service provider is very important.
Can I use other eyelash enhancement products at the same time?
It is safe to use lash growth serums at the same time that you have extensions on. I have never seen, heard or experienced any harm in doing this. But, you won’t need a lash growth serum while wearing extensions!
How are they applied?
They are applied one by one to each individual eyelash. You should be laying all the way down during the procedure and a full set of eyelashes usually takes a well-trained technician around two hours.
Is there anything I need to avoid once I have them on?
You want to avoid oil, and steam while wearing extensions; it will cause the adhesive to loosen, and the eyelash extensions to fall out faster. You also want to make sure you are not rubbing your eyes, or picking or pulling at your lashes.
Can the extensions get wet?
They can get wet and you can continue with your normal activities, but, the less you expose them to running water or swimming, the longer they will last. It is advised that you stay out of water 48 hours after you have first had them applied or filled.
Do I need touch ups?
Yes, if you’d like to maintain your full lashes you will need to get them filled usually around every 3 weeks. Usually people get what’s called a “fill” every 2 to 4 weeks while wearing extensions.
What types of lashes are there?
The most basic and most popular are synthetic. Then, there is silk and mink lashes. I like silk and mink the best because they are softer, more natural, and they last longer.
What’s the main difference between the types of lashes?
The difference between mink and silk is that the mink are lighter weight, and a more glamorous effect can be achieved. Up to 5 mink lashes can be applied on one single eyelash giving maximum fullness. The silk and synthetic look almost identical but the silk is lighter and softer.
Are my eyelashes going to look like Kim Kardashians?
They certainly can! She has some gorgeous, dark, lashes doesn’t she? Eyelash extensions come in all different lengths and thicknesses. You can make sure you specify how you want your lashes to look. Short and natural, long and dramatic etc.
How much do they cost?
You want to be spending between $200-400 for a full set of silk. and $300-$500 for a full set of mink lashes. Price usually indicates the quality in the eyelash extension business. Fills are usually between $100 -$150. Every place is a little different. But, if you see eyelash extensions for around $25, they are NOT the same kind of lashes and appointment you should experience with a safe eyelash extension application.
Have YOU ever thought about getting eyelash extensions?
